Low-Poly Environment Modeling and Texturing

by | Jul 29, 2021

This low-poly environment alley was a fun learning project assigned at Academy of Art University. One of the few 3D modeling courses that had any value there, to be honest. The sculpture department had great courses and professors, so it balanced out for me.

But the project was a way to learn the integration of Maya and Mudbox. We, the students, were not required to model this project. It was about texturing, not modeling.

Part of the work was in Photoshop, but the main idea was to use Mudbox alone for all texturing and painting.
